Durango is advancing its digital transformation strategy with a focus on strengthening coordination between the Mexican and state governments to streamline processes and create better conditions for attracting new investments.

Arturo Ortiz Galán, head of the Foreign Investment Attraction Unit in the Durango government, explained that a meeting was held with José Antonio Peña Merino, head of the Mexican government’s Digital Transformation and Telecommunications Agency, to review the strategic projects being promoted in the state.

The goal is to enhance digital infrastructure and consolidate Durango as an attractive hub for innovation and technological development.

He noted that the commitment to institutional coordination and a shared vision aims to accelerate project progress and translate into tangible benefits for Durango families.

With this, Durango intends to position itself as a national leader in attracting investment, innovation, and digital transformation, creating a more competitive and dynamic environment for the business sector.

Ortiz Galán asserted that the transformation of Durango is built on solid alliances and with the conviction that cooperation between levels of government is the key to opening new opportunities for economic and social growth.
