This Sunday, victim 41 died of meningitis in Durango, who had been hospitalized since Friday at Hospital 450 in the state capital.
The woman was identified as Carmen, 29 years old and originally from the municipality of Santiago Papasquiaro.
Carmen was admitted to the hospital last Sunday for an embolism and already had total loss of sight, revealed David Payán, in charge of care for victims and relatives of the meningitis crisis.
The woman had been operated on at the Hospital del Parque, where the largest number of cases and deaths were generated.
