Eight Complaints Related to Missing Persons in Durango and Santiago Papasquiaro

From January to April of this year, the General Office of the Durango State Human Rights Commission (CEDHD) registered a total of eight complaints related to missing persons.

According to official statistics from the commission, seven of the disappearances occurred in the municipality of Durango, while one occurred in Santiago Papasquiaro.

The breakdown by gender shows that five men and three women were reported missing.

Additionally, a clarification was issued stating that two minors—a boy and a girl—were among the missing persons.

During the aforementioned period, the State Human Rights Commission provided guidance to vulnerable groups.

In this regard, 239 women, 82 senior citizens, six people from indigenous communities, two incarcerated individuals, and six HIV-positive patients received assistance.

Additionally, it was reported that guidance was provided to children and adolescents, six people with disabilities, one member of the LGBTQ+ community, and two migrants, according to official figures.
