Minor suffers fracture after dog attack in Santiago Papasquiaro
A minor was taken to the Durango Maternal and Child Hospital after suffering a dog bite that resulted in a fracture to his right arm.
The incident occurred in the municipality of Santiago Papasquiaro, from where the minor, identified by the initials I.J.P.Q., 10 years old, was taken. Upon arrival at the hospital, it was confirmed that he had a fracture of his right radioulnar joint, in addition to injuries from a dog bite.
The admission was registered by medical personnel through the emergency system, and the corresponding authorities were notified for follow-up on the case. It has not yet been reported whether the animal belongs to an owner or if it is a stray dog.
The investigation file remains open with the Public Prosecutor’s Office while the corresponding responsibility is determined.
