Imagine admiring the beautiful nature of Durango and its mountains, but from another angle. The Sierra Madre Occidental, which runs through Durango territory, offers impressive scenery and unique experiences to those who know how to admire and enjoy it. All you have to do is take the road to find yourself in the middle of a scene worthy of a movie; it is fortunate to be just a few minutes from the mountains. These green landscapes, even in the middle of the fog, are inspiration and wonder for many, and a reason for gratitude for others.
Photographer and videographer Cristhian Saucedo captured the wonders of Durango and its mountains, and now he shares them for everyone to enjoy. “I took these images 15 days ago, they are from La Ciudad, where Mexiquillo is, and up to the Espinazo del Diablo.”
“I love nature, it fascinates me, I am fascinated to see the landscapes that the richness of the Sierra Madre Occidental gives us. Now that it has rained, everything is super green, very beautiful, it is worth making a trip that is approximately an hour and a half to two.”
She stressed the importance of valuing this type of gift that is found a short distance from the city; in her personal experience, she said, it transmits peace, happiness, and she breathes fresh and clean air. She described it as a unique experience, and she wanted to share it through her majestic images.
Living this experience has a double benefit, because in addition to entering into these natural beauties, “you make friends, I got to meet people from Durango, Sinaloa, Chihuahua; even people from other states emphasize that this is incredible.”
“You don’t see this every day… when the fog covers the road, wow! It seems like you are in another world, or well, on another continent, because many people upload photos from Europe, or from others, and really, we can see the same thing one or two hours away.”
