Zacatecas, Durango, Culiacán, Los Mochis, La Paz and Los Cabos will be the destinations that will be visited on the “Desertika” Route 2024.
Fernando Martínez Pérez, organizer of the event, reported that the start will be on July 7 and ends on the 12th of the same month. They will be in Durango on Monday the 8th, around 5 pm, after having spent a couple of days in Zacatecas.
On July 9, they will continue their journey to Culiacán, Sinaloa; then they will arrive in Los Mochis on July 10, where they will board a boat to travel to La Paz, Baja California, on July 11; and culminate, in Los Cabos, on July 12.
More than 70 high-end sports cars from brands such as Lamborghini, Maserati, Alfa Romeo, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, McLaren, BMW, among others, will participate.
He also highlighted that there are influencers and well-known people among the pilots, “what we want is for them to get to know Durango, we know that this type of event brings us tourism, then they come back to visit us.”
Martínez emphasized that “Desertika” is not a race, it is a tour, which aims to travel through cities and towns in a safe and organized way, enjoying the attractions that the country offers in a different way.
