Experience a summer like a movie in Durango… where the special effects are real.

Durango is preparing to steal the tourism box office this year with its new campaign, “A Summer with Special Effects,” an invitation to experience experiences that combine adventure, nature, and the magic of cinema.

Under the slogan “Durango, a World of Cinema,” the program takes locals and visitors on a journey through landscapes so breathtaking they seem created by a Hollywood director, but are actually gifts from nature.

In the Sierra Madre and Pueblo Nuevo Corridor, more than 200 ecotourism centers are spread over 200 kilometers.

There, visitors can kayak through picture-postcard landscapes, zipline over canyons, explore ATV trails, sleep under the stars in luxury glamping, enjoy themed dinners, and marvel at the night sky in places like Mexiquillo, where the nights seem filmed by a master of the seventh art.

Durango also boasts its title as a paradise for birdwatchers, with 366 recorded species, 39 of them endemic.

Among its winged gems are the green macaw, the majestic golden eagle, and the long-eared quetzal, all free in their natural habitat.

This summer, Durango invites you to experience the adventure like a blockbuster… but without digital effects.

Here, the adrenaline rush is real, the culture permeates every street, and nature surrounds you like the best cinematic shot. Because in Durango, every story deserves to be told on the big screen… and you can be the protagonist.
