Collectives, collectives, civil society organizations, and non-profit public institutions working on topics such as human rights and a culture of peace; the environment and sustainability; gender and feminism; art and culture; and gender diversity are eligible to participate.

The second call for projects for Altavoz Durango, broadcast on 90.5 FM, opened on March 31 and will run until May 7, explained Estanislao Chávez, a researcher with the Mexican State Public Broadcasting System.

The Durango Editorial Committee will be in charge of selecting 15 projects. The winners will be announced on May 12 and will subsequently receive free training.

“One year after starting this effort, we have experiences to share with the people of Durango,” stated Estanislao.

Altavoz Radio has 13 stations across the country, although it does not have physical offices in the cities where it has a signal, as everything is coordinated directly from Mexico City.
