Starring Claudia Álvarez and Ana Serradilla, the series “Las hermana Guerra” was filmed at the beginning of the year in various locations in Durango, known as the land of cinema. This production that welcomed dozens of Durango residents, who participated both in acting and behind the scenes, is now available on the streaming platform Netflix, after its premiere this Wednesday, November 13.
There was a lot of expectation to see Durango sets and scenarios in this production where other actors also appear such as: Regina Pavón, Alejandra Ambrosi, Tatiana del Real, Erick Elías and more.
It is known that the team of this project chose places such as Chupaderos, Ricardo Flores Magón, Hacienda de Dolores, some areas of Cuencamé, Nombre de Dios and the heart of Durango, the Historic Center, to bring to life this story by José Ignacio Valenzuela.
Many Durango residents of these regions, or those who visited the downtown area during the days of filming, were able to notice the adjustments that were made to the main streets of the city of Durango, which were even closed to traffic.
The drama series takes up the revenge between two sisters: “When an unforgivable act destroys the relationship of two sisters, a war of revenge breaks out between them that changes the destiny of their family forever,” says the synopsis on the Netflix platform.
On this platform, it has already become the most watched series just a few hours after its premiere.
“‘Las Hermanas Guerra’ is in the number 1 spot of the most watched on Netflix. Series recorded in Durango! Just two days after the premiere, the series has had a great acceptance by streaming users. We thank the production of Mar Abierto, for the trust placed in the state of Durango for the realization of this project,” wrote the Durango Tourism Secretariat.
