This weekend, the Durango Country Club hosted the 2024 Multimedios Golf Tour, where 130 players gathered to play 18 holes under the ‘A Go Go’ modality.
This has been one of the most outstanding tournaments held so far this year at this club, bringing together the best golfers in the region in a setting conducive to a good touch competition, which allowed the talent of the players to be exhibited, combining coexistence and camaraderie.
With cloudy skies and a vibrant atmosphere, with high participation of golfers, who demonstrated their skill in each swing and putt in each of the 18 holes that were played.
The course was full of excitement and a high level of competition, with the participants facing the challenges of the course in search of achieving the best scores, with the combination of high and low handicaps.
Winners combined their skills
The foursome that took first place was made up of Fernando Toulet, Eduardo Anaya, Ismael Medina and Manuel Navarro, who combined their skills to deliver the best scorecard of the tournament.
“I am very happy for this team that we put together, we played excellently, we did very well, we are friends for a long time,” said Fernando Toulet, while Eduardo Anaya said that there were no complications in their game and everything was fun. “Things were going well, everything was very fun,” he said.
Meanwhile, Ismael Medina said that he and his teammates showed up to the course with the attitude of winning and they did. Manuel Navarro, for his part, said: “I am the one who has been playing the least time on the team, 15 years, but we combined, we took the tournament seriously, we had fun, always with the desire to fight. We really liked the tournament.”
Adrián Salum, Golf Director of Campestre Durango, was surprised by the response to the call and the development of the competition.
“The players loved it, we finished everything well, the winners were happy with the prizes they took home, very attractive gifts that were distributed. It is the first time that this tournament is held in Durango, we hope it will be repeated, so we are already talking with the organizers for next year.”
