According to information from Protección Civil Sinaloa, the circulation is suspended in both lanes of the Mazatlán-Durango highway at kilometer 193, near Copala in Concordia.
The incident involved a heavy cargo truck catching fire after colliding with a containment wall. Emergency services have been mobilized to the scene.
The flames are visible from various points along the highway.
