El Niño phenomenon will bring 3 COLD FRONTS to Mexico in September: When they enter and affected states

The end of the year is approaching and with it comes the season of low temperatures in Mexico, since at the beginning of September the Cold Fronts began to arrive in the country, but now due to the ‘El Niño’ Phenomenon, 3 more are on the way; This would be the entry date and states it will affect.

In recent days, rains caused by hurricanes and tropical storms have caused a significant drop in the country’s temperature, but a new Cold Front is about to come into action, so it is recommended to be careful to avoid inconveniences.

When would the Cold Fronts enter Mexico?

According to the National Meteorological Service (SMN), the ‘El Niño’ phenomenon is active in Mexico, remembering that it warms the atmosphere and modifies the circulation patterns of air and other elements, therefore generating drastic changes in the climate, although it is also related to rain.

Because a Cold Front is generated when a mass of cold air collides with a mass of warm air, ‘El Niño’ would bring 3 new ones to the country before the end of the summer, the next date being September 23.

The SMN has not given an exact forecast of when the low temperatures will be present due to this phenomenon, but what it does report is that there will be at least 3 more in the remainder of September, so the population is urged to follow the instructions.

Once they come into force in Mexico, the states that would suffer their effects the most would be Chihuahua, Durango, Edomex, CDMX, Puebla, Tlaxcala and Zacatecas, with low temperatures, abundant cloudiness, strong winds and sometimes intense rains.

The National Meteorological Service also reported that throughout the entire Cold Front season, which will end until May 2024, at least 51 of them are expected in the country.
