Over 50% of Mexicans no longer believe in López-Gatell and AMLO

73.7 percent of Mexicans stated that the health authorities are not prepared to face the situation of COVID-19

53.5 percent of Mexicans believe “rarely” or “never” the information provided by Hugo López Gatell, undersecretary of Prevention and Health Promotion according to a survey carried out by the Strategic Communication Cabinet ( GCE ).

38.1 percent of respondents said they believe “rarely” in López Gatell, while 15.4 percent said they “never” believe their statements.

Meanwhile, 30.9 percent trust the undersecretary of health “most of the time” and 13.1 by the way “always”.

Regarding the credibility of Andrés Manuel López Obrador ( AMLO ), president of Mexico, 63 percent of those surveyed stated that they believe “rarely” or “never” in him.

Specifically, 45.3 percent revealed that they believe “few times” in López Obrador and 17.7 percent “never”.

While 22 percent indicated that they believe “most of the time” in the President of Mexico and 13.2 percent “always”.

On the other hand, 73.7 percent of the Mexicans consulted by the Strategic Communication Cabinet stated that the health authorities are not prepared to face the COVID-19 pandemic situation.
